Andres Machin is an artist and art educator living with his family in Houston's Third Ward. He has 9 years of direct teaching experience including 2 years as the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Coordinator. He also worked with the admissions team at New Mexico School for the Arts to develop and deliver art-centered community outreach projects throughout the state of New Mexico. Andres holds an M.F.A. from California Institute of the Arts, a B.F.A. from Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and has been the recipient of numerous outstanding educator awards as well as a Harvard Graduate School of Education Diversity Recruitment Travel Fellowship.
